T. A. Garcia grew up in California making her first visit to Hawaii in her early twenties. A few months later, she moved to the islands and enjoyed living in paradise for several years before moving to the Pacific Northwest. Four years ago, she returned to her island home.

After her return, it wasn’t long before she received the spark of a story idea and began writing a Young Adult novel taking place in Hawaii. Her novel was published at the end of 2013. She wrote "A Time in Paradise" to share her love of the islands' beauty, culture, and aloha spirit as well as a young woman's introduction to first love.

She is in the final stages of writing her next novel which is a New Adult romance also taking place in Hawaii. It's a story about her belief that destiny allows us to cross paths with those we are meant to meet.
